Privacy Policy for the Rapid Entry Shopify App
Last updated March 6, 2026. This policy explains how Particle Spectrum Labs LLC collects, uses, stores, and deletes information when merchants install or use Rapid Entry with their Shopify store.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the Rapid Entry Shopify app. Rapid Entry is a spreadsheet-style product editor used inside Shopify Admin to view and update product, variant, inventory, and metafield data for a merchant's own store.
2. Information We Collect
When a merchant installs or uses Rapid Entry, we may collect and process the following categories of information:
- Shop information such as Shopify shop ID, shop domain, store name, and store contact email.
- Authentication data required to connect the app to Shopify, including app access tokens managed for the store.
- Subscription and billing metadata such as Shopify subscription ID, plan, subscription status, billing interval, trial dates, and current billing period end.
- App preference data such as visible columns, column order, column widths, default sorting, and rows-per-page settings.
- Shopify catalog data the merchant chooses to load or edit through the app, including products, variants, inventory, metafields, metaobjects, pages, and articles.
3. How We Use Information
- To authenticate the merchant and connect Rapid Entry to the merchant's Shopify store.
- To load store catalog data into the spreadsheet interface and send merchant-approved edits back to Shopify.
- To save app-specific preferences so the interface remains consistent between sessions.
- To manage Shopify billing and subscription status.
- To secure, monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the app.
4. What We Store
Rapid Entry stores merchant account records, Shopify authentication records, subscription metadata, and interface preferences in our application infrastructure. Rapid Entry does not use a local product database as a system of record for merchant catalog data. Shopify remains the source of truth for products and related commerce data.
5. Customer Data
Rapid Entry is not designed to store protected customer personal information outside Shopify. If Shopify sends privacy webhooks related to customer data requests or redactions, we process those events for compliance. Based on the app's current implementation, customer personal data is not retained in our database as part of normal operation.
6. Sharing And Processors
We share data only as needed to operate the app and only with service providers or platforms that support the service, including Shopify and our infrastructure providers for hosting, database, and job processing. We do not sell merchant data or customer personal information.
7. Retention And Deletion
We retain merchant records, access credentials, billing metadata, and app preferences only while needed to provide the app, satisfy legitimate operational needs, or comply with legal obligations. When Shopify notifies us that a store has uninstalled the app or issues a shop data redaction request, we delete the merchant record and associated preference data from our application database.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information used by Rapid Entry. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Choices And Rights
Merchants may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from Shopify. For privacy questions, requests, or complaints related to Rapid Entry, contact [email protected].
10. Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page.
